In 2006, at 14 months of age, Rawburn Rommel was sold to F J Fraser & Son, Newton of Idvies, Forfar for £32 500 with a half semen interest being retained by Rawburn. Rommel recorded an actual 400-day weight of 767 Kgs and scanned an eye muscle depth of 90mm. With a terminal index of 31 he is in the top 1% of the breed. His Dam Prairielane Rosebud 011 was the second highest growth rate cow in all of Canada. Rosebud 011 was also the dam of the highest growth rate bull recorded in Canada in 2005. His sire is the top US bull Hoff Limited Edition.
