In 2009 all previous performance records for a sire group at Rawburn were shattered by the offspring of Rawburn Randolph F555. These calves were born easily, grew faster and were more powerful than any sire group we have ever had at Rawburn.

Ranked on Terminal Index, Randolph sired 8 of the top 15 bull calves born in the UK in 2008. No other sire had more than 1.

Ranked on Terminal Index, Randolph sired 7 of the top 15 heifer calves born in the UK in 2008. Only one other sire bred more than 1 (Rawburn Transformer had 2)

Performance figures indicate only part of the reason why we feel that this bull is our greatest achievement to date. Numbers do not tell you about his exceptionally docile temperament, his ability to maintain body condition or his high level of fertility (He naturally put in-calf 56 cows over a period of 3 months at only 16 months of age).
